52Against the odds
At age 6 my parents got divorced, rarely ever saw my dad again, he never payed chilld support. Lived with a hard working, struggling but very loving mom. At age 13 she remarried. By age 16 I was a highschool cheerleader who liked to party and my mom and step dad moved and I moved in with my older sister and her family so I could stay in my same highschool. At 17 my sister moved and I moved in with my brother. Had to quit cheerleading, worked two jobs to support myself and managed to barely graduate highschool. After graduation I moved a couple of hours away to go to college, and soon became preganant by my highschool boyfriend. Quit school and we moved back to our hometown. Sounds like a disaster? Today we have been married 12 years, have two beauitful children and own a business that employ's 40 people. We are Christians, that love God, our Children, and each other. I would not recommend this plan to anyone, there are much easier ways to do it! But I believe we are a success story that has triumphed against the odds.
