What is your definition of success?

Success the way I see it.

To me this question is easy. You are successful when you are at peace with youself and your life. When you are content. Now I will explain: You can be successful in one area of your life and miserable in all others, this is not success. If you are a CEO and financially successful, but have a wife and kids who resent you, you are not successful. To say when you are "happy" is too vague, emotions change like the wind. If you have a great loving marriage, but are living in a run down house and stressed about finances and your children are suffering, you are only succeeding in one area and failing in all others. I think achieiving true success, being satisified, content and at peace with where life has brought you, is a difficult thing to achieve. I think it is not achieved by many, due to the fact that their definition of succees is focused on a specific thing (i.e. getting married, landing that perfect job, making X amount of dollars, buying that certain car or house). Those things do not make you successful in the journey of life.
